Brown was sentenced for a drunk driving incident in the San Fernando Valley in March of last year
Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Singer Bobby Brown is now behind the walls of a Los Angeles jail.  Brown turned himself in this morning to begin serving a 55-day jail term following a drunk driving conviction.  A L.A. County Sheriff's spokesman tells the "Los Angeles Times" due to jail overcrowding and time off for good behavior, Brown is likely to serve no more than nine days behind bars.  The New Edition member must also complete an 18-month alcohol-treatment program.

Brown was sentenced for a drunk driving incident in the San Fernando Valley in March of last year.  Seven months later, Brown was caught driving drunk and with a suspended license, which ultimately led to the 55-day jail term.
