Rapper Too Short faces a D-U-I and narcotics possession charge after allegedly trying to run from police overnight. 

TMZ reports Short, whose real name is Todd Anthony Shaw, took off running when police in L.A. were getting ready to administer a breathalyzer during a traffic stop.  

He was reportedly apprehended after tripping on the street, and then tried to dump narcotics in the back of a cruiser.
