Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in Atlantic City is no longer open for business.

PressofAtlanticCity.com reports that the nightclub and restaurant shut its doors back in October after being hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

The spokesman for the 40/40 Club, Ron Berkowitz, says that in addition to extensive water damage, the four-million dollar facility also had a big hole in the roof.

It turns out that shortly after the storm hit, the club's lease on the property also ended.  Berkowitz says with the two events coinciding, Jay decided "it was time to move on."  He adds that the club had a great run.

Jay-Z opened Atlantic City's 40/40 Club back in October 2005.  The flagship location in New York City opened its doors in 2003.
