Cash Money Records may be heading to court over a Bow Wow song.  TMZ reports that Robert Poindexter of the 1970's band The Persuaders is suing the record label for copyright infringement over Bow Wow's 2010 track "Still Ballin."

Poindexter claims that Bow Wow illegally sampled his song "Love Gonna Pack Up" (an Walk Out)."

According to court documents, Poindexter says he tried to get in touch with Cash Money about using his song, but was given the run around.  He's asking a judge to award him with 600,000 dollars in damages.

So far Cash Money Records has not responded to the suit.

Poindexter has a history of suing rappers for the illegal use of his songs.  In the past he's filed lawsuits against 50 Cent and Kanye West for allegedly illegally using his songs.
