A New Orleans skateboarding crew has launched an "F Weezy" campaign, aimed at getting Lil' Wayne to stop skating, but he says he's not getting off his board anytime soon.
He tells MTV, "It’s a whole bunch of skaters that’s just like, 'We don’t like the fact that Wayne skates, period.' Like, 'Stick to doing what you do, don’t join our world, we don’t want you here,' that type of thing."
Wayne says he appreciates the skaters' passion but insists he has love for the sport too. He says if he weren't a rapper, “my day job would probably be a sports analyst and I would skate all night instead of being in the studio all night. He says he just “wants to be vital in the [skate] world.”
Though he says he can laugh about the campaign, Weezy doesn't think the skaters should take things too far. “I never been sonned or nothing like that because I did the eight months on [Rikers Island], so you know, sonning me is going to be a little difficult."
