R. Kelly says he's in talks to bring his Trapped in the Closet series to Broadway. He made the announcement last night (Monday) in New York during a screening of the latest chapters in the series, which will debut on IFC on Friday night. Kells said, “To transform it into a Broadway version, that’s what I’m working on" -- without offering any other details. 

Kelly also told the crowd that he knows the series is silly. “I’m just having a lot of fun. I don’t have a job, so I sit in the studio all day and think of stuff to do, and this is just something stupid I’ve done that’s been successful for me.”
