(WENN) - The five-year digital rights battle between Eminem's production company, FBT Productions, and executives at his record label, Aftermath Records, has been settled.

FBT bosses initially sued Aftermath and its parent company, Universal Music Group, in 2007, claiming royalty cash for downloads.

The legal move sparked a series of similar lawsuits filed by the likes of Kenny Rogers, Peter Frampton and Public Enemy.

Details of the settlement between FBT bosses and Aftermath executives have not been disclosed, but lawyers for the producers state, "This action has been settled to the satisfaction of all parties."

Last year FBT bosses filed a motion, stating they were seeking $1.5 million in damages.
