MIAMI GIRL SWEARS AT JUDGE, GOES TO JAIL: An 18-year-old girl in Miami who was arrested for possession of Xanax was sent to county jail for 30 days after she cursed at the judge during her hearing. Penelope Soto disrespected Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat from the get-go when she starting giggling at his questions. The judge, suspecting something was wrong, asked Soto if she had taken any drugs in the past 24 hours. She answered no, and he sent Soto on her way, setting her bail at $5,000. He said, "Bye bye," to which the teen giggled and replied, "Adios!" As she walked away, Judge Rodriguez-Chomat called her back and doubled her bail. The teenager questioned his seriousness, and the judge said, "I am serious. Adios!" That's when Soto decided to flip the bird and drop the F-bomb, as she walked away. The judge sentenced her to 30 days in jail for criminal contempt.
