SO I ADMIT...(HAND GOES UP) "THE BIBLE "ON HISTORY CHANNEL HAD ME IN FRONT OF THE TV FOR 10 HOURS ON SUNDAY
Alright......I missed the leg break during the UL v DUke game on Sunday because I was glued to the TV watching History Channel seies on 'The Bible" Not only a refresher for any history student and Sunday school visitor, I have to admit it was very well done and Blue Ray worthy on tomm. There are a lot of biblical stories that you rememebr, or hear and always want to see a visual outside of some cheesy renactment. I think they did a real good job with this.
One of the hardest viisuals to incorporate when reading the new testmanet is "How do people Look"? That's one of the biggest arguemnets from scholars throught the years. HC (History Channel) seems like they got it right. A multiethnic representation , and Sampson a large T- Pain (as someone said on instagram yesterday)lol. Seriously, im not the poster child for Wed night potluck at church but it had me glued and I will buy it Tuesday. Think about all of terrible picture books, living bibles, and bad illustrations you've seen through the years. I almost thought it was an old season of 'Game Of Thrones" Two Thumbs up from me on "The Bible". Ok...one and a half thumbs, the "Satan" character did look like the P.O.T.U.S. and was a bit scary for my kids lol
